In the northern area of Kefallonia, the biggest of the greek Ionian Islands archipelago, Fiskardo is one of the most exclusive turistic ports, visited by the sailing affectionate from all over the world. Tzelentata, just few minutes (1,9 Km) drive from Fiskardo, is a delightful and quite village in a green reserve of olive trees and cypresses. Here, Villa Kalimera, near to local tavernas, restaurants, village shops, and local beaches, has been lovingly restored in 2006 as one of the few stone rural buildings that survived the 1957 earthquake and for that declared by the Greek Environment Ministry “traditional house”. Large living/dinning room, bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor, three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, on the first floor, all plainly furnished. Outside, a romantic patio with an old rain water reservoir, where, as in the ancient style, a stone open air staircase is the only one connection between the two floors of the house.
